Hung Parliament - Brexit - Fram Search opinion

Well, we are all a bit bleary-eyed and drowsy this morning, but our first reaction to the election result was relatively good, once we had gotten over Hung Parliament - Brexitthe shock. What next? Who knows, we are in unchartered territory, but a hung parliament need not spell disaster, for either the economy or for Brexit. Whichever government we end up with, it will have difficulty getting anything through a hung parliament, and neither party is likely to get anywhere with the more extreme parts of their manifestos. However, the economy has a history of doing well in such circumstances. Brexit is a different issue, but this result has increased the probability for a soft Brexit, which is arguably better for the economy in the short term, at the very least.

Now, this might just be the slightly delirious rambling of a sleep-deprived recruiter, but we do have a cautiously optimistic atmosphere at Fram HQ this morning.
